Terms and conditions

Single orders

Products are sold by Kaffa Roastery OY, business id 1757976-8. We sell our products to adults in Finland and Japan. Our products include the VAT. We reserve the rights to changes in prices and shipping costs.

Ordering

Products are ordered via the internet at kaffa.shop (Finland) and kaffaroastery.jp (Japan) by adding products to the shopping cart and paying the order.

All purchases are confirmed with an email, which includes information on the price, shipping costs and ordered products. To receive the email, be sure you have filled in your email address correctly before ordering.

Client signs on the current terms and conditions at the moment of each order.

Purchase confirmation

After the purchase, a purchase confirmation is delivered via email. It includes the ordering number, order contents and prices, and the total price.

Payment

The only payment method is a one-time card payment. Credit cards are accepted. The client allows Kaffa Roastery to charge the one-time payment.

The customer’s payment details are saved on the external service provider Stripe in case of upcoming orders.

Delivery time

We ship products every weekday. Our delivery times are as follows:

  • to Finland 3-8 days
  • to Japan 5-10 days

Exceptional delivery times will be informed on Kaffa Roastery’s website or via email.

Shipping method and costst

Shipping costs include sending and packaging costs. You can check shipping costs after adding your payment details in the shopping cart. We deliver our products directly to your door or to the nearest collection point.

Return and exchange policy

Coffee is foodstuff and thus has no right for canceling, returning or exchanging the product (ks. kuluttajansuojalain 6 luvun 16 §).

Defective products will be replaced with new ones.

We reserve the rights to change our terms and conditions. The client is responsible for reading the up-to-date terms and conditions, and sign them at the moment of their every order.

Kaffa Roastery Oy handles all customer information confidentially.

Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are sold by Kaffa Roastery Oy, business id 1757976-8. We sell our products to adults in Finland and Japan. Our products include the VAT. Shipping costs are included in the price.

Ordering

When subscribing, the customer needs to register to the service by creating a personal user account. The customer is responsible for filling in the correct contact and payment information. The customer is responsible for keeping this information up-to-date. Kaffa Roastery is not responsible for issues that follow due to outdated information provided by the customer. The customer’s information remains confidential and are not used by any third parties. Payment details are saved on third-party service provider Stripe for subscription payments.

The deal between the customer and Kaffa Roastery comes into effect once the customer confirms the purchase. The deal remains valid until the customer cancels the subscription, which is possible any time.

Delivery

The service is valid until further notice and comprises a regularly sent coffee package to the address given by the customer.

We handle and prepare new orders once a week to ensure that the coffee is as fresh as possible. After the first delivery, the coffee is delivered regularly following the frequency set by the customer.

If the address is invalid or the mailbox too small, the package will be available to be picked up from the nearest pickup place. Delivery times are only estimates and Kaffa Roastery is not accountable for late deliveries.

The customer can change the subscription details. Changes will be valid starting form the next delivered coffee package in case the next package is not yet under production. If the next package is already under production, then changes will be valid starting after the ongoing delivery is handled.

Return and exchange policy

Pricing

Pricing depends on the amount and frequency chosen by the customer. Shipping costs are included in the price. Prices contain the VAT if not mentioned else. Current prices can be found on the website.

Payment

The only payment method is repetitive card payment. Credit cards are accepted. The customer allows Kaffa Roastery to charge subscription payments. The customer agrees on writing all the necessary paperwork required to carry out payments and to ensure enough funds on her account on each payment due date.

The customer’s payment details are saved on the external service provider Stripe until the subscription is cancelled.

Payments are charged automatically from the card information given on the customer’s payment details. The first payment is charged at the moment of subscribing. After that, the payment will be carried out depending on the subscription type.

If a payment becomes due, the subscription is stopped until the payment is received. Kaffa Roastery can charge interest based on the interest law, and a reasonable request payment.

Data protection

The customer is added to Kaffa Roastery’s CRM which information is used for customer service. Kaffa Roastery Oy handles all customer information confidentially. The website may use cookies.

Cancelling the subscription

The customer or Kaffa Roastery can end the subscription whenever, according to these terms and conditions. The customer can cancel subscription via our website or email:

Packages that are charged will be delivered. Charged payments will not be returned.

Other information

In case of remarkable changes in the term and conditions, Kaffa Roastery will inform customers via email. Changes will be valid 7 days after sending the email. Email is sent to the email address provided by the customer.
